But, sheikh, can we pray, like in Mecca, 1 meter apart, is that called a congregation. That itself is against what is a jamaah, standing 1 meter Apart. Can u explain if the jamaah is valid. Wassalaam.
(The Arabic “” language “” of the Quran, its Unique Message and why it is in Arabic.)
The idea or notion that in order to “” “”understand the Quran “” “, and to understand the correct message of the Prophet, peace be upon him, one must definitely know the Arabic language, is not true. Even many Muslims, not all , fall into this ignorance and misconception and just miss out on the True Message of the Quran, the Last Testament for mankind.
I can explain this in a simple manner so as to understand its message because the Quran is a Universal Message, and the Prophet, is sent to mankind as a Mercy, so as not to be misunderstood like the Christian concept of Atonement for the Sin of Adam., or Original Sin., like the People of the earlier scriptures, the Law and the Gospels. The Jews rejected Jesus Christ, as the Messiah and the Christians adopted St. Paul’s Trinitarian creed.
Muhammad, peace be upon him, was sent to all humanity after the Books of the earlier Prophets were corrupted., mainly by the People of the Book. So, the language must be in Arabic, because the Chosen One of Allah , Muhammad Mustafa, was born in Arabia, for the Last and The Final Message.
And there were many in Arabia, those days, were masters in the language, but they could not accept the Prophet, and the Message. The language, Arabic itself, was not the Message of Allah to mankind.
The Message of the Quran was to Worship Allah Alone., and not to associate partners to Him. The main religion in those days around the world was IDOL WORSHIP. And the Quraesh, the ruling tribe, which Muhammad, pbuh, came from, were the Guardians in Mecca, a centre for pilgrimages of Ancient Gods , where the Kaaba was, and inside and around the kaaba were more than 360 Idols of various gods of the pagan Arabs of those regions.
This was very much similar to those Greek and Roman Gods and even to the Idols and statues of the Christians, who were already Trinitarians., according to the Quran.
And as we know, Abu jahal and the leaders of Quraesh, were all Arabs.
And many Arab poets and experts in the Arabic language were there during the Prophets mission.
They even accused the Prophet to be a poet and also to be “” possessed”” by evil spirits after realising it can never be a work of an ordinary man. The language of the Quran supercedes all the linguistic standards of the time., in the region.
And now coming to the language again, there are only 300 million Arabs compared to 1.7 billion Muslims., who are non Arabs. And there were people accepting the message, not knowing even a single letter in Arabic. Its the Unique Message of Only One ( God) ,, Allah, which attracts any soul which searches the Truth. Its not the language. The first ever complete English translation of the Quran, was done by a non Arab, George Sale in 1734, a Christian, and He died a Christian.
And the Quran today in translations, with the ORIGINAL ARABIC TEXT, is available in all the major languages in the world
As I told you, yes, its very important to study much Arabic as possible for a Muslim, if they were to teach Islam, and also to recite it, as it is done during the Prayers. The Quran is also known as a Recitation, for every Muslim. But to accept and understand its Meaning and the Message must be the most important overriding factor of Faith for every Muslim. Not the language alone. As it is a Revelation, a Guidance and a Healing from Allah to all mankind, and the Prophet was a Mercy to the Worlds, not to the Arabs alone.
Hope when you read , you get the message across. I’m not against anyone learning languages or the Arabic language, the only language of the Quran. But I’m only trying to explain clearly that the ” faith , the truth of imaan, the witnessing or shahaadat that Muhammad is the final Messenger of Allah and the believe that Allah is One, has nothing to do with a language or any language.
It has only to do with your heart, and the ultimate Guidance of Allah. Allah guides anyone with a Heart. May Allah guide us all.
Abu Jahal saw Muhammad, pbuh, as a trustworthy fellow Quraeshi Arab but
Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, saw Muhammad, pbuh, as the Messenger of Allah. That’s a perfect Analogy to the Quran in Arabic. Truth must be Recognised and Understood.
Say, My prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my death are surely for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. No associate has He. And this am I commanded , and I am the first of those who submit . ” Quran~ 6 : 163-164.
We were also ask to pray , ” Ya Allah, give us the best in this life and give us the best of the next life ” , , so there’s no harm planning for the future. But remember also Allah and that this life is not permanent while the next life is eternal.
1. A. L. M.
2. This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah;’
3 Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;
4. And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter.
5. They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.
6. As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.
(Sura Baqarah 1-6 .)
The Islamic belief in god is not a mere article of faith~a solitary item in a shadowy creed. It is deep rooted and firm.It has been frequently said Islam possesses the shortest creed of all the religions of the world, and though this may be the case, so firmly fixed is the Muslim’ s belief in the Supreme Being that he regards with abhorrence and as blasphemy any attempt to divide in any way the Unity of God. How can the Divine Being be reduced to the level of any other ? Or how can He share His Attributes with another ? He is the Most High and He Alone is to be adored, and to assert that there are three , or even two, in possession of Omnipotence is , to the Muslim , a self evident contradiction.
”’ There is a majestic glory in the expressions , Ar Rahman and Ar Raheem which cannot be found in any other words. No limits can circumscribe His beneficence. Is it a matter for wonderment that the Muslim , when he thinks of the all embracing grace and beneficence , the Majesty and Glory of the Lord of all Existence , should prostrate himself with forehead on earth in adoration and worship ? To that Lord of All the Worlds , the Muslim gives a name which is above every other name, i e , the name of ALLAH , a name which has never been given to any except the only true God , a name which embraces all the excellent names which can be enumerated.
”’ Islam is no mere creed , it is a life to be lived. In the Quran may be found directions for what are sometimes termed the minor details of daily life , but which are not minor when it is considered that life has to be lived for God. The muslim lives for God alone. God is the centre of all satisfaction , all hope , all life. The aim of the muslim is to become God ~bound , and to endeavour to advance the knowledge of God in all his undertakings. From the cradle to the grave , the true Muslim lives for God and God alone.

6. “All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black, nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action.” (The last Sermon of Prophet Muhammad)
